English editing

Clear, correct and natural English for your thesis, article or chapter, with every change explained.

About this service

English editing improves how your writing reads. We correct grammar, spelling and punctuation, tighten long sentences and fix word choice, so your argument is easier to follow. We keep your voice and your technical terms, and we do not change the meaning without asking you.

Every edit is tracked in Microsoft Word, so you can accept or reject each change. Where a sentence needs your decision, such as a claim that needs a citation or a term used in two different ways, we leave a margin comment.

Questions

Questions about english editing

Can you edit a thesis one chapter at a time?

Yes. Many students send one chapter at a time. Name each file FirstName_LastName_date_chapter2, so we can keep the order clear. Tell us the final deadline for the full set.

Do you check my references?

We check that references follow your chosen style and that every in-text citation has a matching entry in the list. We do not check that a source supports your claim unless you ask us to flag it.
