Article and book formatting

Layout that follows your journal, university or publisher guidelines, from headings and tables to the reference list.

About this service

A strong paper can still be returned for poor formatting. We format your article or book to the guidelines you give us, including heading levels, table and figure placement, citation style and the reference list. Formatting changes the layout, not your wording.

If your journal or publisher has its own template, we follow that rather than a general style guide.

Do you format to a journal’s own style?

Yes. Send the author guidelines or a link. If the journal has its own style, we follow it rather than a general style guide.

Can you format a whole book?

Yes. Book-length manuscripts take longer. Tell us the page size, font and any chapter template your publisher asks for.
